Three new Walk-Off Markets are in place at sections 141, 185, and 341.
What the hardcore fans are talking about
You’ll hear some gossip while you’re waiting in line for your Seattle dog — these are the hot topics.
Plenty of fans are feeling pretty optimistic about the outlook for a World Series run this year following last year’s general success. Current betting odds also have us stacked pretty high up against other teams for a chance at the title.
All eyes are on Julio Rodriguez as he enters his second MLB season. He shot straight up to star status, but will he continue to meet expectations?
Major League Baseball also had some pretty significant rule changes this year. Fans will see the introduction of a pitch clock, defensive restrictions on infielders, and larger bases.
We know that’s a lot of information, but here’s the most important thing: baseball is finally back, and it’s time to play ball.

One of the most significant (and free) healthcare events in the Pacific Northwest — Seattle/King County Clinic — is coming back for its eighth year, providing free dental, medical, and vision care to anyone in the region who struggles to access and/or afford healthcare.
Clinic organizers are still in need of volunteers, including additional dental, medical, and eye care professionals, social workers, health insurance navigators, interpreters, and general support volunteers (ages 18+).
This year’s clinic will be held Thursday, April 27-Sunday, April 30 at Seattle Center.*
Grab a plate while you can — Capitol Hill’s Caribbean-inspired restaurant Marjorie closes tonight after 13 years of business. Owner Donna Moodie did not give an explicit reason for the abrupt closure, but her plans for new Central District watering hole Boujie Bar remain intact. (Capitol Hill Blog)
Development
Hotel company Silver Cloud Inns and Suites has purchased the former location of Hawks Nest Bar and Grill in SODO at 1028 First Ave. S. Fun Fact
When new Capitol Hill arcade bar Time Warp opened in December 2022, patrons were quick to notice the weirdest game on hand: Colonoscopy Party, a “Simpsons"-themed game that is just as weird as it sounds. Butt now, curious gamers can learn more about its origins and creators thanks to this interview by The Stranger. (The Stranger + Capitol Hill Blog)

Not able to snag Mariners Opening Day tix? No need for FOMO — Victory Hall, a new indoor/outdoor event space owned by the Mariners, opens Thursday, March 30 in The Boxyard across the street from T-Mobile Park.
While The Boxyard complex is already home to Steelheads Alley and Hatback Bar and Grille, this addition adds the capacity for another 1,000 people looking to catch the game (or anyone who’s looking for event space for any other reason).
In addition to including five 100-inch flat screen TVs and a 20-ft by 11-ft TV wall, the 1,200-sqft event space will operate as a beer garden during any Mariners, Seahawks, or Sounders games.
Victory Hall is celebrating its grand opening with a party beginning at 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 30 featuring a live DJ, food trucks, and Mariners-themed cocktails before the game begins at 7:10 p.m.
I just want to give a big shout out to my partner who was able to snag some Mariners Opening Day tickets before they sold out — I am unbelievably excited and you best believe my Ty France jersey is ready to go. Bring on the peanuts.
