It’s almost Election Day, Seattle. In one capacity or another, Washington has been voting by mail since 1983.

So, with the Tues., Aug. 2 Primary Election coming up, we’ve put together a list of locations where you can drop off your pre-filled ballot at drop boxes or vote in person, if needed.

Pro tip: Ballots must be turned in at an official ballot drop site by 8 p.m. on Election Day — Tues., Aug. 2. But, if you are in line before then, you’ll still be able to cast your vote.

🗳️ Drop-Off Ballot Boxes

The 70+ available drop-off boxes are scattered throughout King County and can be used 24 hours a day.

The ballot boxes at Tukwila Community Center, Magnuson Park, Seattle Pacific University Bookstore, Magnolia Park, Renton Public Health Center, Powell Avenue, King County Elections Office, Redmond City Hall, Tahoma School District Building, Duvall Police Department, and Highline College are drive-up drop boxes.

🗳️ In-Person Voting Centers

Voting centers are generally reserved for folks looking to register to vote, who need to update their current voter records, who need to obtain a registration card, or who need assistance voting.
