    • A new Fremont bookstore is certainly in the running for the prettiest in Seattle. Charlie’s Queer Books at 465 N. 36th St. is solely dedicated to books by and for members of the LGBTQ+ community, but is also memorable for its beautiful pink carpets, tropical wallpaper, and swan-shaped faucets.     • Cafe Racer is coming back, baby. The Capitol Hill Dance club plans to reboot sometime soon with some financial backing from its new partner Jody Ramsammy of Vivid Productions and the Allied Arts Foundation. It will reamin at 1510 11th Ave. (Capitol Hill Seattle)

    • Washington Commissioner of Public Lands Hilary Franz has pitched a specialty license plate featuring Smokey the Bear and the slogan “Only you can prevent wildfires” to benefit wildfire prevention. The license plate will require 3,500 signatures on a petition before it can be approved. (Seattle Times)
