Number

$8.9 million. That’s the proposed budget for Seattle in 2026. If approved, the budget would address city funding needs and aim to improve public services via new taxes, including a public safety sales tax and a business + occupation tax. (KIRO)

The Seattle City Council has approved a new e-cargo bike program aimed at enhancing delivery services in the city. This initiative is expected to promote sustainable transportation and reduce traffic congestion, making deliveries more efficient and environmentally friendly. (KIRO)
