Get ready to fill up your reusable shopping bags with fruits and veggies, Seattleites, because it’s a great time to go shopping at farmers markets.

In the spirit of supporting all things local, we’ve rounded up 28 farmers markets in the Seattle area where you’ll find fresh food, live music, and local vendors.

Year-round markets

U District | Saturdays | 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

  • Features: 80+ vendors during the peak season in close proximity to other great retail spots
  • Parking: The U Heights lot has parking available for a suggested $3 donation. The U District Light Rail station is also only two blocks away.
  • Space: Outdoors

Ballard | Sundays | 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

  • Features: 160+ vendors, with 100% of produce coming from Washington state farmers
  • Parking: Street parking — which is free on Sunday — is available around the neighborhood
  • Space: Outdoors

West Seattle | Sundays | 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

  • Features: 80+ vendors
  • Parking: There are available spaces in the Junction lots between Edmunds and Oregon streets.
  • Space: Outdoors

Capitol Hill | Sundays, year-round + Tuesdays, seasonally (starting June 4) | 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sundays, 3-7 p.m. on Tuesdays

  • Features: Take your goodies over to Cal Anderson Park for a little midday snack
  • Parking: Street parking is free on Sundays, but the market is also directly adjacent to the Capitol Hill Light Rail station
  • Space: Outdoors

Columbia City | Wednesdays, May 1-Oct. 9, + second Saturdays, November-April | 3-7 p.m. on Wednesdays, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on second Saturdays

  • Features: 40+ farmers, flower stands, and hot food vendors like Geni’s Ethiopian, Seattle Pops, and the French Guys
  • Parking: Two-hour street parking can be found directly around the market, but the Columbia City Light Rail station is also a block away
  • Space: Outdoors

Kirkland Wednesday Market | Wednesdays, June 5-Sept. 25 | 3-7 p.m.

  • Features: Lakefront shopping and wading areas for any bored kiddos
  • Parking: Marina Park has a paid lot with space for about 75 vehicles.
  • Space: Outdoors

South Lake Union | Saturdays, May 4-Sept. 28 | 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

  • Features: Known as SLU Saturday Market, 65+ vendors here sell food, vintage goods, art, and more
  • Parking: Street parking + garages (expect larger crowds every fourth Saturday with the addition of DJs + extra pop-ups)
  • Space: Outdoors

First Hill | Fridays, TBD | 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

  • Features: This pop-up is a satellite location for the Pike Place Market Express Farmers Markets
  • Parking: Street parking + garage
  • Space: Outdoors

Bellevue Farmers Market | Thursdays, May 23-Oct. 24 | 3-7 p.m. (May 23-Sept. 26) + 3-6 p.m. (Oct. 3-24)

  • Features: 50+ vendors, plus a Power of Produce club that encourages kids to try new fruits and veggies
  • Parking: Free parking is available at the market
  • Space: Outdoors

Queen Anne | Thursdays, May 30-Oct. 10 | 3-7:30 p.m.

  • Features: Enjoy additional Saturday markets, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., for seasonal previews: Spring (May 11), Halloween Harvest (Oct. 26), Thanksgiving Harvest (Nov. 23), and Winter Solstice (Dec. 14)
  • Parking: Street parking (however, we recommend taking the bus and hopping off at Queen Anne Ave. N. & W Crockett St.)
  • Space: Outdoors

Redmond Saturday Market | Saturdays, May 11-Oct. 26 | 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

  • Features: Rotating live musicians and vendors like Schmidt Blueberry Farms and MoonDance Pottery
  • Parking: Parking is available on site
  • Space: Outdoors with a pavillion

Wallingford | Wednesdays, May 29-Sept. 25 | 3-7 p.m.

  • Features: A nearby playground, P-Patch garden, lots of green space for picnics, and live music
  • Parking: Parking is available along Meridian Avenue North
  • Space: Outdoors

Lake City | Thursdays, June 13-Oct. 3 | 3-7 p.m.

  • Features: A library branch right across the street for the studious shoppers
  • Parking: Parking is available in the library’s underground garage
  • Space: Outdoors

Mercer Island | Sundays, June 2-Sept. 29 | 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

  • Features: Folksy rock music sets the vibe at this market, which sells produce, flowers, honey, cured meats, and more
  • Parking: Street parking + neighboring lots
  • Space: Outdoors

Phinney Ridge | Fridays, June 7-Sept. 27 | 3-7 p.m.

  • Features: A playground, live music, and picnic tables for snacking
  • Parking: Parking is available at the Phinney Neighborhood Association’s lower lot.
  • Space: Outdoors

Crossroads Bellevue | Tuesdays, June 4-Sept. 24 | 12-6 p.m.

  • Features: This summer market has live music lineups, baked treats, handmade goods, produce, local honey, and more
  • Parking: Shopping mall parking lot
  • Space: Outdoors

Madrona | Fridays, May 17-Oct. 25 | 3-7 p.m.

  • Features: A playground for kids that need to burn off some energy
  • Parking: The market’s lot has limited spaces, but folks can also check out MLK Way or East Union Street
  • Space: Outdoors

Magnolia | Saturdays, June 1-Oct. 12 | 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

  • Features: Cooking demos, kids activities, and a special, one-day fall Harvest Market in November
  • Parking: There’s free street parking nearby
  • Space: Outdoors

Delridge | Saturdays, May 18-Oct. 26 | 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

  • Features: The market model prioritizes BIPOC farmers, chefs, and artisans — find food and goods representing nations around the globe at this one-stop shop
  • Parking: Lot + street parking for Hope Academy
  • Space: Outdoors

Kenmore | Wednesday, June 5-Aug. 28 | 3-7 p.m.

  • Features: Fruits, veggies, baked goods, flowers, and more — and it’s right by coffee shops, breweries, and restaurants

Renton | Tuesdays, June 4-Sept. 24 | 3-7 p.m.

Woodinville | Saturdays, May 4-Sept. 28 | 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

  • Features: Shop baked goods, produce, cider, and other treats — then take a short stroll at the nearby Wilmot Gateway Park

Sammamish | Wednesdays, May 15-Sept. 25 | 4-8 p.m.

  • Features: Food trucks, starter plants + trees, decor, and knick-knacks aplenty make this market one to remember
