Sahalee Country Club, 21200 NE Sahalee Country Club Dr., Sammamish | The 27-hole, year-round course is regularly ranked among the Top 100 clubs in the US by Golf Digest. You’ll need to score an invite to get in, though, and availability is limited.
Fairwood Golf & Country Club, 17070 140th Ave. SE, Renton | The year-round course is suitable for all skills levels. You can also bring the whole fam for fun club events, junior programs, and swimming.
Sand Point Country Club, 8333 55th Ave. NE, Seattle | Try not to be distracted by the scenery along Lake Washington when you’re teeing up at the undulating healthland-style course. Amenities include a 24/7 fitness center and special meals during the holidays.
Seattle Golf Club, 210 NW 145th St., Shoreline | Established in 1900, the course was redesigned in 1996 by none other than the legendary Arnold Palmer, so you know it’s gotta be good. You need to get recommended by an active member for access.

Bellevue Golf Course, 5500, 140th Ave. NE, Bellevue | The year-round facility offers a challenge for all levels and terrific landscaping for just a leisurely weekend stroll. PGA-certified pros are also on-hand for lessons.
Jackson Park Golf Course, 1000 NE 135th St., Seattle | This Pinehurst club bills itself as the “driest public course” in the city, which is saying something considering how much it rains around here. It also hosts cool events like Ladies Wine & Nine.
Jefferson Park Golf Course, 4101 Beacon Ave. S., Seattle | Take in sightlines of Mt. Rainier at the beautiful Beacon Hill club, which includes a driving range, restaurant, and lessons for all levels. Its nine-hole “executive” course is a good option for those who want just a taste.
West Seattle Golf Course, 4470 35th Ave. SW, Seattle | You can spy downtown Seattle and Elliott Bay from certain holes. If you’re in a hurry, try the “fast lane” program Monday-Friday, which guarantees a full round in under four hours.
