Dawoud Bey & Carrie Mae Weems: In Dialogue” presents visions of Black life, conveyed in 140+ intimate portraits, dynamic street photography, and conceptual studies of folklore, culture + sites of history.

Friends since meeting in a photography class in 1976, this is the first time the artists’ work is brought together in dialogue. The exhibition’s last day is Sunday, Jan. 22 — see it (and everything else SAM has to offer) during regular museum hours.
