Meet Scope Screenings: an approachable, short-form film festival

This monthly underground film festival aims to connect artists with an audience in a way that doesn’t break the bank + fosters community.

Art is for everyone.

Scope Screenings is part of an effort to bridge the gap between rising creators and their surrounding community. A monthly short-form film festival, this underground event offers affordable tickets and lax viewing environments — a fresh approach to the beloved format for film fans.

Phone use and audience participation aren’t just allowed, but encouraged. In the eyes of Scope Screenings founder LexScope, it just adds to the depth and reach of the experience.

The experience

Each month, Scope Screenings hosts an evening of music videos, documentaries, commercials, and more styles of video predominantly produced by BIPOC creators.

After each video, LexScope hosts a short, armchair-style chat with those involved.

An intermission allows participants and attendees to converge and network with people from all walks of life and career fields.

Ready to view and vibe? Tickets start at $25 for the next screening on Tuesday, July 30.
