• Tower developer Trammell Crow Co. proposed an 11-story life science project at 901 Lenora St. and the Seattle Department of Construction and Inspections granted conditional approval on Monday. The developer still needs to get a construction permit + purchase the property, but hopes to close the deal sometime this fall. (Puget Sound Business Journal)

• Real estate investment and development company Gemdale USA Corp. is closing its Seattle office six years after opening. The company is behind the recent luxury apartment tower Skyglass + will continue its work on a 10-story office project at 618 John St. across the street from Apple’s offices. • Japanese streetwear and basics brand Uniqlo will be opening two new locations in the Puget Sound area. A store at Tacoma Mall will open Friday, May 10, with another opening at the Alderwood shopping mall in Lynnwood on the following Friday, May 17. (Puget Sound Business Journal)

• The first phase of Puyallup Tribe of Indians’ opioid treatment clinic opened on Tuesday, May 7 in Tacoma. Located in the Dome District at 503 E. 26th St., the two-story clinic will have a full medical staff, mental health services + limited primary care and urgent care for holistic treatment. • The first season for Remlinger Farms’ new amphitheater will open with Portugal. The Man and Bomba Estéreo on Friday, May 24. The Carnation-based venue at 32610 NE 32nd St. has a full summer lineup ending with a last performance by Goth Babe on Friday, Oct. 4. (Seattle Times)
