A quiet walk in a circle

The sun sets over the labyrinth at Saint Mark's Episcopal Cathedral

Ahead of the holiday season, all I want is a chance to catch my breath. It may sound contradictory, but a winding labyrinth can be a nice way to, well, unwind.

I love the labyrinth at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral. This Capitol Hill cathedral has a permanent, bricked path in the courtyard. There’s also a temporary labyrinth placed inside the sanctuary during select holidays like New Year’s Eve. The addition of the temporary installation is a tradition that spans two decades.

The Wrap

I have a toddler, and it’s been ages since my partner and I went out for a nice dinner. (You know — a no-crayons, no-milk kind of affair.)

We have a night out on the books, but the pressure is on. I usually consult the Infatuation’s list of new restaurants for inspiration (OG SEAtoday readers will recognize Gabe Guarante’s name). But I’m always keen to hear from our readers.

Reply to this email with your favorite restaurant — I’d love to shout it out.
