Hey Babe — looking for a party? 🐷

Let us help you out. Pike Place Market Foundation — which supports the local market’s merchants — is celebrating its 40th birthday this weekend during the market’s annual Harvest Festival with a big “parade” honoring its golden mascot, Rachel the Pig.

Yes, those were disco pigs you saw traveling down the road. Here’s proof.

During “Pigs on Parade,” nearly 50 fiberglass pigs, all designed by local artists, will line the market’s cobblestone streets. Those who pop by the festival on Saturday can vote for their favorite pig statue and enter for a chance to win three Sur la Table cookware gift baskets.

Harvest Festival deets:
📆 Sat., Oct. 29
⏰ 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
📍 Pike Place (of course)
🎉 Along with pig art, there will be free history tours, live music, a giant pumpkin carving, artist demos, and lots of pumpkin spiced goods.
