Welcome to the next level of fitness, Seattle.

HYROX, the world’s fastest-growing fitness race, is making its mark in the Pacific Northwest. And where better to train than Emerald City Athletics (ECA), voted the No. 1 gym and fitness center in the region?

As an official HYROX Training Club, ECA offers HYROX-programmed classes six days a week at all four Greater Seattle locations:

  • Ballinger Village
  • Columbia City
  • Everett
  • Wallingford

Working out the details

Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just starting your fitness journey, HYROX is built for all ages, faces, and paces.

What makes HYROX so addictive? It’s the ideal blend of functional strength, endurance, and mental grit, packed into a race-style format anyone can train for. Imagine being cheered on by a crowd and feeling like a champion, no matter your fitness level.

One member’s journey to success

Need proof that training at ECA delivers results? Just ask member Kayla Fenske.

She began HYROX training at ECA “just for fun.” A few months later, she finished first in her age group at HYROX Miami, earning a podium finish and a ticket to the World Championships.

She credits her win to both the gym’s setup and the support system around her. The “Champions Room” simulates every station in a HYROX race, with coaches who guide, encourage, and push athletes at every level.

“Finding the right gym environment was crucial — and that’s where Emerald City Athletics made all the difference. It was truly the perfect training ground,” she says.

Get ready to race

ECA’s first HYROX Simulation Competition brought out a massive crowd of athletes of all levels, filling the gym with race-day energy and community support. Pro tip: The next simulation is coming up on Saturday, June 14, and all are welcome.

Best of all? Seattleites can try HYROX Training at ECA free for 29 days.

With high-energy classes, expert coaching, and a supportive community, there’s no better place to train like a competitor.
