Local celebrity chef Shota Nakajima is permanently closing his last local restaurant, Taku. The Capitol Hill fried chicken dive has been temporarily closed since January, but Nakajima says he wants to shift his focus to other ventures. (Puget Sound Business Journal)

You’ve got a new spot to get a pre-game beer, sports fans. Tom’s Watch Bar, a new two-story sports bar, is now open across the street from the Climate Pledge Arena. This is the 15th location for the Colorado-based chain, with another Seattle location pegged to open near Lumen Field later this year. (Puget Sound Business Journal)
