Is there any event that sounds as decadent as the Northwest Chocolate Festival? Surprise — it’s in our own backyard.
The all-things cacao festival is taking place Friday, Oct. 4-Sunday, Oct. 6, at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue. In addition to offering sweet treat samples from 100+ global brands, the festival has a variety of sugary educational events.
Here are a few that we’ve marked down:
- Are you Flavor Curious? Explore Your Sensory Language | Saturday, Oct. 5 | 2-3 p.m. | Learn how to describe flavors like a pro.
- Bean-to-Bar in Ukraine: Craft and Struggle in a War Zone | Sunday, Oct. 6 | 1-2 p.m. | Despite rocket attacks and fuel shortages, Ukrainian chocolate makers have continued to work.
- Single Origin Chocolate Custard | Sunday, Oct. 6 | 2-3 p.m. | This custard made with caramel sauce and fall fruit will be shared with guests.
Day and weekend passes are on sale starting at $35.
