Where to celebrate Halloween in Seattle this year

Some of us spend all summer (at least) thinking about and planning our Halloween costumes — and can’t wait to settle down with some cider and pumpkin carving.

But regardless of your preferred ghoulish activity, Halloween’s a wonderful time for creativity and spooky fun. Here’s a list of all the places you can celebrate All Hallow’s Eve this year in Seattle, whether you’re looking for a rager or something fun for your kids.

  • Zombie Soiree | Sat., Oct. 30 | 5 p.m. | STELLA., 900 Madison St. | $90 | A zombie-themed dinner complete with food, cocktails, tarot readers, a photo booth, ghost tours, and a costume contest.
  • Supernova goes to The Roller Disco | Sat., Oct. 30 | 8 p.m.-12 a.m. | Southgate Roller Rink, 9646 17th Avenue SW | $18-40 | Tickets include skate rental, so slip on your Halloween garb and roll through the night. 🛼
  • Diwaloween | Sat., Oct. 30 | 9 p.m. | The Crocodile, 2505 First Ave. | Free | A two-holiday celebration with Bollywood and Halloween music, fortune telling, glow in the dark jewelry, candy, and a photographer to catch all the fun.

Sun., Oct. 31

  • Harvest Fest | Sun., Oct. 31 | 10 a.m.-2 p.m. | West Seattle Junction, California Ave. SW | Free | Grab the kids, the dogs, and everyone’s costumes for a chili cook-off, a parade, hot chocolate, and cider.
  • Barktoberfest 2021 - Howl-o-ween at the Dog Yard | Sun., Oct. 31 | 12-5 p.m. | Dog Yard Bar, 1546 NW Leary Way | Doggie costume contests, apple bobbing, games, caricature drawings, and live music (and you can get to bed on time). 🐕
