Ain’t this a kick? The Sounders just unveiled their shiny new training facility and headquarters in Renton — and it still has that new turf smell.

Known as the Sounders FC Center at Longacres, the sprawling, 150-acre campus will be home to pretty much everything the club does outside of games at Lumen Field. It includes:

  • Four full-size training pitches (two grass + two turf ones)
  • 50,000 sqft of office space
  • Locker rooms for the First Team, Tacoma Defiance, and the Sounders Academy
  • A world-class gym (of course)
  • Treatment and recovery rooms with a sauna, hot + cold tubs, and a cryotherapy chamber

Longacres marks the first time that both the Sounders’ soccer and business operations will be under one roof. And it’s good timing. With the World Cup on the way to Seattle in 2026, it helps to have a state-of-the-art pro soccer facility as a welcome mat.
