Start... your... OARS. This Saturday, May 6, marks the opening of the 2023 Windermere Cup — a big day for local rowing teams and other Seattleites who like boats and good food.

The event, which was founded in 1987 to show off the Montlake Cut as an ideal rowing location, brings in some of the best collegiate rowing teams from around the world for a fun competition.

This weekend is also the beginning of the Seattle Yacht Club ‘s season, so expect a lot of fanfare, including:
