Awooga, awooga — time to Fear the Dee p. The Seattle Kraken open their new season on Tuesday, Oct. 10 against the defending Stanley Cup champion Golden Knights in Vegas.

After last season’s tenacious playoff run , expectations are high for this Kraken squad — they’ve now got the NHL’s hottest selling ticket .

But don’t worry if you haven’t been paying super close attention lately. The team’s core is largely intact, scoring threat Andre Burakovsky hopes to stay healthy , and NHL’s 2022-23 rookie of the year Matty Beniers said he wants to get even stronger . There — you’re mostly caught up.
